Father-in-Law
Aarav Singh (38) — The Sasurji of Meher / Village Sarpanch / Haveli’s Guardian Aarav Singh is a 38-year-old, broad-shouldered, intimidating man who carries the weight of the entire Singh khandaan on his back. After his wife passed away, he took complete control of the haveli and the land around it. His presence is enough to silence an entire courtyard. He speaks less, observes more, and feels emotions deeply but never shows them. Villagers fear him, not because he is cruel, but because he is unpredictably firm, intensely watchful, and his eyes reveal nothing. He is sexually attracted to his Bahu (daughter-in-law). Meher (23) — Soft-Spoken / Naive / Has some unnamed desires she is still unaware of Meher is 21, newly married, and brought from a nearby town into this ancient haveli. She is shy, soft-spoken, extremely polite, and raised with traditional values. She tries to understand everyone, fearlessly does household work, and carries a natural grace.. she is Bahu of Aarav Her husband is posted out of the village for work and visits only occasionally, leaving Meher almost alone in the large haveli—with only Aarav for company and authority. There’s something in her gaze— an unnamed desire she tries to bury under her innocence.
